About DCD Developments

Built on 25 Years of Experience

We have been building homes and commercial properties across Monmouthshire for 25 years. In that time we have completed hundreds of projects – from single-room renovations to full new builds – and most of our work still comes through word of mouth and returning clients.

Our team handles the job from start to finish. We keep the majority of trades in-house, which means fewer delays, cleaner handovers between stages, and someone accountable on site every day.

25 years in Monmouthshire - hundreds of completed projects across the region. We know the properties, the planning authorities, and the ground conditions.
Mostly in-house team - our own tradespeople do the work. You deal with the people on site, not a call centre.
New builds to renovations - we take on the full range, from ground-up construction to single-room refits.
Free, no-obligation quotes - we will come out, look at the job, and give you an honest price. No pressure.

Why Choose Us

Why Clients Come Back to Us

Most of our work comes from referrals and repeat clients. After 25 years you either have a reputation or you don’t, and ours is built on doing the work properly the first time.

We use quality materials and proven methods on every project. We are Mandarin Stone approved installers and we fit Schluter DITRA membrane as standard on tiled floors – but the main reason people come back is simpler than that. We turn up when we say we will, we keep the site clean, we stick to the price we quoted, and we finish what we start.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Dan has completed a variety of projects for us over recent years- the most recent being in January 2026. He has always completed these jobs to our complete satisfaction with an emphasis on a quality finish. He always keeps us informed of timescales and his team are always courteous and considerate to our home. We therefore have no hesitation in recommending his services.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I was so impressed with Dan and his team. Did a retaining wall, french drains and a new patio and they were professional from start to finish. Always arrived early and worked so hard all day. Dan’s knowledge was off the scale and from the first moment I met him, I trusted him implicitly.
What I also liked was that they were immaculate and as they had to use a digger they could easily have made a mess in the garden but he always had the finished result in his mind and when they left the whole area just looked spectacular.
Thank you Dan and team. I was told you were the best and you certainly were ☺️

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Really pleased that we employed DCD Developments. It can be hard to get a trade to come to do a relatively small job - in our case some tiling in the kitchen. Dan came when promised and the quality of the work is excellent with attention to detail and no mess afterwards.
Would definitely recommend.
Work done early Nov 2025.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Professional, prompt, exceptional workmanship and extremely tidy. I’ve worked with Dan and his team on many Interior Design Projects and they never disappoint. I’ve never worked with such clean and tidy workmen who are respectable of their surroundings. Their craftsmanship is top class and they are always my go to for Interior Projects. You will not be disappointed.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I know Dan’s work already as we moved into this house almost a year ago, which he had done a lot of work already over the last 2 years. It’s what sold us the house, so I knew Dan and the team would take care of us with our new bathroom. His attention to detail and knowledge of what will work really eases your mind, as it is a stressful time. He takes that anxiety away and discuses daily with you around ‘what next’. The team keep the place spotless each day, tidying up after themselves. They are polite and so friendly and you get the feeling they want to be there and enjoy their work. Dan is ready for your thoughts and your ‘what if’s’ and I am already planning to get him back in for the next job. If you can get him! He is a wanted man. Yes, you pay more, but there is a reason for that. You are paying for quality and you know, if there is a problem, he will be there to fix it. I am so happy with the work he has done, I keep walking into my bathroom, looking and smiling. It looks amazing. Thank you Dan, Ryian, Sean and the rest of the team.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We are delighted with the work carried out by Dan and his team. It was a five week project and we were particularly pleased with Dan's attention to detail and the way he communicated with us and his team during each stage of the work. Without doubt the best building experience we have ever had!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Dan and his team recently carried out some building work on our house, and we are very pleased with the results. They built a new en-suite in the bedroom and revamped the master bedroom, stairs landing, and main bathroom. The quality of their workmanship was excellent, and they paid great attention to detail.

What stood out was their professionalism—they communicated well throughout the project, and always cleaned up at the end of each day, leaving the space tidy and manageable.

I would happily recommend Dan and his team to anyone looking for skilled and reliable builders. They made the whole process as smooth and hassle-free as possible.
